The Bell 47 Restoration Is Underway

The Bell 47 Restoration Is Underway

We are delighted to announce that former military engineers and Bell 47 specialists Tom Kirk and Paul Harbottle will be working on our helicopter, and they have already started.

Their first task was to carry out a thorough inspection and help us answer the question we have been desperate to know: is our Bell 47 a write-off, a heap of junk, or can it be restored and returned to the skies once again?

Having experts with the knowledge, experience and authority to inspect the aircraft, complete the required maintenance and sign off their work is a major step forward for the project. Their specialist understanding of the Bell 47 has already taught us a great deal, and it is fantastic to see the restoration beginning to take shape under such capable hands.

They are incredibly busy and in very high demand, so we feel extremely lucky that they have made time to come and work on our helicopter. We genuinely appreciate their support, expertise and commitment to helping us bring this remarkable aircraft back to life.

This is only the beginning. We will be sharing more from the inspection, the work already underway and the restoration journey as it progresses.

Keep following for more Bell 47 updates, there is plenty more to come.
